if this card was cheaper, it might be useful with flicker effects to trigger his cip effect. But aside from that, Steelshaper's Gift or Stonehewer Giant are preferable for fetching equipment cards in general.

4 mana cmc is already the most expensive thing there is in my soldier/equip deck but you have to pay the cost of the equipment on top..... way too expensive and it ends up in your hand for too long
Wow, thank you random card feature. This could fit nicely in my mono white EDH deck.

Totally underrated. Consider this guy in a cat soldier equip-beef deck with weenies like Leonin Den-Guard and Sunspear Shikari who get pumped with 1 drop equipment like Bonesplitter and Skullclamp. You can easily drag one right out to the battlefield with this guy for just 5 mana, pretty nifty considering there are no white 5 drop cats. Its also a great way to yank out artifacts for guys like Kemba who create tokens for every equipment attatched to him. All of this with a 2/3 body? Come on, this guy should definitely see play in a cats deck.

Like a poor man's Stoneforge Mystic. Which isn't to say it's bad, it puts the card into play the same turn you cast it instead of a turn later. The big downside is speed, doesn't happen until turn 6-7 instead of turn 2-3 like with Mystics.

"Balanced" Stoneforge Mystic, because its not as insane as the former and forces you to spend mana to tutor for equipment
Though its a bit high on the casting cost, 3 mana and 2/2 would be fairer for a 1 use card

In this case, I would prefer it to Stonehewer Giant or Steelshaper's Gift.
