I love how most of the multi-color creatures in Theros have great bodies. most of them are extremely efficient, and play well in most of my aggro decks.

I wonder if there's some planeswalking photographer who travels the multiverse in search of wildly dangerous angles from which to take pictures, and then delivers them to WotC. Sounds like a decent "art matters" planeswalker for the next un-set. XD

Can't be targeted with Crush Underfoot?

Hey, Azorious First-Wing finally has a cousin.

I wonder if this art evokes similar feelings of awe in new players today, as the original Shivan Dragon did back when I started playing.

I'm totally fine with additional Ghor-Clan Rampagers.

Granted, he can't Bloodrush, but pro-Enchantments, the ability to get nearly twice as big, and solid Enchantment removal make him a force to be reckoned with in his own right.

This is just one of many good gruul 4 drops fighting for a spot this standard.

If you pull it limited, don't be afraid at all to add it to your deck.

I think this is how monstrous should have been done. Instead of a one-time effect that happens when it becomes monstrous, it gains a new ability when it happens.

Protection from enchantments. Interesting.
As an aside I would like to thank Wizards for finally making a block with an average amount of multicolored cards. Feels right.

I normally discuss the card's abilities, playability, combos, etc.

But here, I just wanted to say that the art on this card is quite memorable. I mean, there are quite a lot of cards that makes you feel it, but this one in particular speaks for itself.

You look at the card, you see the cyclops and you can bet that he IS going to CRUSH your bones to dust.

"Giants are generally peaceful creatures, so long as potential threats keep their distance... and leave their mammoths unharmed."

This guy is all like, "F*** the polis!"

I find it funny that "protection from enchantments" basically means "protection from the Gods" now. Doesn't destroy them outright, but I wouldn't mention that to this guy's face.

Seems a little unfortunate that he can't Crush Underfoot. :(

I play a W/U enchantment deck and this card is gonna be a problem. I need to get all of the copies of this card that exist and burn them.
I imagine if this and a God were to get into a fight, it'd be like
"YOU'RE STUPID"
"NO YOU'RE STUPID"
"WELL YOU'RE EXTRA STUPID"
"OH YEAH WELL YOU'RE MISSING A TOE"
"you take that back or I swear"

Um, protection from enchantments means you won't be putting any auras on him.

Gratuitous upskirt shot of a giant one-eyed monster.
Wizards does fanservice right!

FUCK THA POLIS, as many have said before me. Damn good creature, shame he might not see play until RTR rotates out.

It's good in standard against all the enchant or creature enchant but he cannot be played with his own color god : Xenagos, God of Revels because this one cannot target the crusher...

Its never a good idea to *** off a giant that can provide you with a new chasm in the the middle of the city.

By the Gods!
It's Polyphemus!
I mean seriously, this guy is a rare but you know,a DAMN GOOD RARE,like Zendirares!
Casting a 4/4 Trampler with evasiveness from enchantments that could possibly tranquilize him it's already neat.
Give him Monstrosity 3 to get a 7/7 which destroys enemy enchantments anytime he deals combat damage, that's insane!
And great art by the way.

I think trample just makes this guy. The added upside that goes along with the monstrosity is great, too. A little ramping and you can get to his monstrosity pretty early. Plus, amazing art.

Can't be targeted by Xenagos, God Of Revels, comedy or tragedy?
