Anamnesis refers to recovering knowledge from your past incarnations. Platonic philosophy on Magic cards is always welcome.

Generates card advantage and has a relevant blocking body that can still impact the board late game. Comes out a turn later than Archaeomancer, but this ability is better utilized with more time for more spells in the graveyard anyway.

Trying to resist a Johhny Joke here. I doubt anyone will get it anyways, but it's funny on 2 levels. Mathematically hilarious.

There should be an un-card called "Memetic Wall": Return target bad joke from your graveyard to your hand.

Too bad Wall of Omens couldn't be reprinted. It would make a lot of sense in a Greek mythology block. Fingers crossed!

Awesome flavor text! If only we could get some actual Heraclitus (in translation, don't be a sir).

@XTwistedsoulX Okay, I just spent the last fifteen minutes gazing intently at the card, enlisting my math nerd friends, and generally puzzling over what the joke could be. We figured that SpaceMagic was talking about the name perisophia (meaning about or around Wisdom) - but what's the math joke? Tell!

*sigh* Cloudchaser, he's referring to Johnny Mnemonic. The other 90s Keanu Reeves movie. You know, a Johnny joke about Mnemonic Wall. I feel slightly ashamed for having to explain it.

Because when you play blue, drawing from your graveyard is often better than from your deck.
