Oddly enough I've never seen this card. Requires a sweeper or multiple removal spells, and that's before you consider counterspells. Thank god for Volcanic Fallout and Sudden Spoiling.

Just to be clear...this means you cannot proliferate or equip items unless you do it twice. It is almost impossible use auras, instants or sorceries on your own creatures unless you are holding and expend multiples. In commander games Kira is a very sharp double edged sword. Please tell me i'm wrong (at least about the proliferate part).
Also, this card is great in any blue deck with creatures, at least as a strategic one-of.

@carpecanum Proliferate doesn't target. The triggered ability that Kira gives to your creatures will not go off since they never became the target of a spell or ability.

This is why Pyroclasm is the best red card. And therefore, the best card.
Would have liked some new art on the Modern masters reprint.. Always a fun card to play with. Kira can be a big problem for a lot of decks. Especially if you run spells that protect kira like Cloudshift, dramatic Rescue, Deputy of Acquittals... Also, great card to run lightning greaves with... You can always shift the Grieves around for free so you can cast spells on your own creatures around her ability.
I like ghostly flicker to save a kira and your other best creature when they go for the mass removal. Or momentary blink for flashback utility.

@carpecanum Kira is still good in EDH/Commander. You just need to have Deadeye Navigator paired with it.
