Since it triggers off of the number of forests you control, it combos with Life and Limb and any saproling generator. Since it makes tokens, it combos with Doubling Season. Since the tokens are creatures, it combos with Essence Warden.

Ah, yes - the first of an entire cycle of cards that references marijuana.
Needs to cost more and needs to sacrifice the forests. Wood Elemental was to strong, no reason to outclass it completely.

I run this card in my monogreen EDH with Jedit Ojanen of Efrava for my commander. Not only does this card have delicious flavour with Jedit and his cat-producing effect, but it triggers a number of other creatures in my deck. Cast Champion of Lambholt Cast Ivy Lane Denizen next turn, then play this next turn for at least four cats (usually more) and counters for the champion and whoever else you want with the denizen's effect. And don't even get me started on my Howl of the Night Pack with the champion and the denizen.

Also, the art is hysterical.
