Only changes permanents, but useful with or against almost anything that cares about color. Worth reprinting.

Fantastic card. Why rely on Scrapbaskets or Scuttlemutts or some other unreliable creature to keep you safe with Spirit of Resistance when you can Prismatic Lace an Island on the first turn?

@Wayori She's changing the drake to a swan...which is white. But good idea nonetheless.

Strictly better than Thoughtlace... and it's still not that good. It has its uses though.

Moonlace has more offensive uses, but I like the idea of Knight of New Alara

If you're looking for a cantrip version, there's Quickchange, which is ueot and restricted to creatures.

This is one of the best color-changing spells as of now, and sadly one of only a few somewhat useful ones.
Targeting a (basic) land makes this a very reliable effect, and as a instant for Blue, it's a nice combo piece that can be used immediately on turn one. It synergizes wonderfully with - and curves nicely into - Bloom Tender.

How can Moonlace be used more offensively? This one seems more offensive to me when used in conjunction with Blessing of the Nephilim or Might of the Nephilim.
