Something that would make this card somewhat better than useless: Draw a card. It's not much, but when mucking about with such pointless abilities, you take what you can get.

Even when I was a noob I knew not to put this crap in my deck. I guess I preferred cards that were garbage too but were at least more useful than this. At least my Barbed Sextant not only fixed mana but was a cantrip as well.
