Only two mana and all you have to do is constantly tap one of your creatures all so another creature can't block! Oh, how I wish we could put more than four of these in a deck! But alas, I must be content with only a playset of them. I love the utility of it! I rate it a very enthusiastic six stars out of five.

It looked disgusting. It still does.

But you know what? My Rakka Mar deck is already running Magewright's Stone and Thousand Year Elixer

Should have cost Red. Even then it would be barely playable.

How is this rated bad? Don't you guys realize you could cast this on your opponents creatures, then tap HIS creature to prevent another one of HIS creatures from blocking, effectively stopping two of his creatures from blocking every turn?

Unless I'm wrong, you can use this enchant ability on his creature even though it doesn't belong to you. If not, then ignore my above comment and rating.

Cast on your opponent's creature? I guess its good if he wants to tap it so YOUR creatures can't block so they will live lol

@KorJax,

You can play it on your opponent's creature (assuming it's a legal target) and you will retain control of the enchantment. However, the creature is still controlled by your opponent. The enchantment gives the ability to the creature, but does not contain it itself. Therefore, your opponent will have the deciding vote for when Malicious Intent's ability will be used. There are a handful of cards that work how you're thinking, I'm fairly certain, but auras don't generally have that application. A much more playable version of this (in standard) is Gideon's Lawkeeper, because it taps the creature, making the ability more versatile, costs 1cmc less, and comes with a 1/1 body, which is much better than an aura, which falls off when the creature dies, anyway.

Brutally outclassed by Ghostly Touch in most (but not all) cases. That's not even getting into how much better something like Gideon's Lawkeeper or Minister of Impediments is generally going to be for you. Were they even paying attention when they made this set?

Tap the creature in response to being tapped by Malicious Advice for delicious Malicious.
