Decent Skeleton Warrior is Decent, though I wish they would print a truly amazing Skeleton one of these days that isn't a troll, a vampire, or a dragon. Great Art though.

I like the whole carnival feel to a lot of the Rakdos cards. They make wanton slaughter fun! Well, more fun.

Regenerate is always a good keyword! I like this card! Eighter you get an offensive 2/2 regenerater or a defensive 1/1 with regeneration :)

Rakdos, Guild of Terrible Puns. Just wait till you hear the punchline, it'll slay you.

I'm not sure how relevant a regen ability is on a 2/2 that can't block, especially since it costs more than Drudge Skeletons' regen even if you don't unleash it. This guy's definitely more versatile but I don't think it's a better card than the old skellies.

drudge skeletons seems better, imo.

Pros like me like this card and it is possibly the most versatile unleash card of the set. Depending on the situation, this creature can possibly be used often without the unleash ability.

@Trygon_Predator The punchline? You must've missed his amazing hook.

A 2/2 for 1B with reasonably-costed regeneration? Sure, why not? This should be a gem in Limited and might even find a place in Standard (just kidding). 'Course it's hard to justify regeneration on a creature that can't block, considering regeneration, especially on creatures of this size, is usually used for repeat chump-blocking. But still, for Pauper its not a bad card for a skeleton deck. It probably goes without saying, though, that the flavor-text is just, just awful.

You guys are missing the point of this card, the Rakdos Unleash effect means you never stop swinging , this skeleton makes that work because while everything is unleashing pure fury, this guy sits back and blocks all day long. I would play him with the black deathtouch guy as well. You dont have to play everything with unleash...these cards would be for defence. If Wizards is smart they will print a couple more cards that give your creatures haste in the next 2 sets...that will make Rakdos VERY GOOD.

I like this card because when you Regenerate it you can decided weather or not to unleash it and that makes it more flexible then a lot of unleash cards. Kinda meh otherwise.

Perhaps in the next few sets, a creature will be created that can make use of other creatures abilities, much like Experiment Kraj and Necrotic Ooze did. This card being solid black, means it can go into any of the four guilds that run it without consequence. And it's regeneration ability may be of great use to that future creature.
You can also kill it yourself with Golgari Charm, regenerate it, and have Morbid prepared so your Skirsdag High Priest can get you that demon token. Thinking outside the box may catch others off guard =)

@MechaKraken: a regenerated creature doesn't count as having been killed for the purposes of Morbid. Or, well, anything really.
I guess the trick with Mr Boney here is to have him constantly swinging with other Unleashers and if the bigger ones get blocked, this guy will get through, and any smaller creatures trying to block, like tokens, will get killed whilst he just keeps on going. He's basically aggro assistance.
4/5. A 1/1 regenerator for 2, plus it can become a 2/2 that can't block. Solid limited pick.

It should have been 2/1 and then the regeneration cost 2B. That would make him playable.

My first thought with this card is to play it as a blocker all day long. Get it out on the board and just regenerate. Guess that could be irritating for the opponent and at the same time give me the opportunity to play bigger creatures while guarding myself with Grim Roustabout.

@MechaKraken Sorry to say it, but none of your second paragraph works at all. Regenerated creatures never leave the battlefield: it's a replacement. It says "The next time this creature would be destroyed this turn, instead, remove it from combat, tap it, and remove all damage from it." So, your skeleton would never hit the graveyard to trigger Skirsdag High Priest. Next, Golgari Charm, unless you've somehow turned this into an enchantment, gives all creatures -1/-1 until the end of the turn. A creature with toughness less than or equal to 0 is put into its owner's graveyard as a state-based action. It isn't actually destroyed. Thus, a creature with Indestructible can be removed this way, and regeneration is impossible.

Wight of Precinct Six is much better for the same mana, sure it doesn't have regen, but that doesn't matter when your opponents have already lost 5+ creatures to your black removal deck and Wight comes in as a 7/7.
