That's a kind of card that at first glance possibly appears to be useful for beginners, yet there are enough other cards with better/cheaper effects.

This card sucks, but there are worse. (*cough* Fishliver Oil *cough*)
But that combo with storm crow is unbelievable.

I don't think this card is amazing or anything, but you guys are being harsh on it. In a game where the battlefield is clogged, why not be able to send one of your big guys through? For three blue, you might be able to do 5 or more damage, or trigger some crazy thing from a creature doing dmg to a player.

Not a great card, but not a 1 star card.

Nickkom, don't forget that there is Infiltrate Two mana cheaper and without these girly restrictions.

I die a little inside with ol' Teleport here. Triple blue makes it grossly impractical outside of a monoblue deck, especially with Distortion Strike, Infiltrate and other similar spells in the game, and this is a rare. Teleport, I love your art, flavor, and your name, but you still bite pretty hard, even taking your age into account.

Also, sorry Nickkom, I agree more with GarbageGatherer. It's 0 stars maximum as a Melvin, arguably 4 stars as a Vorthos. Overall, I give it a .5. Highly restrictive with a miserable mana cost, and has been obsoleted at least 5 times over. Even without being obsolete, even in Legends, at EXACTLY this mana cost, AND only uncommon, I would prefer Puppet Master hands down.

And Tiggurix, I understand how you feel, but then infiltrate must be a 5 star card for you then, right?

@Nickkom, @garbagegatherer and @Hedgeill: You have all good points, but I think I agree more with Nickom. While it's expensive, and it has a silly restriction, it still makes a creature unconditionally unblockable. I think that's worth at least three stars any day of the week, especially if you get to hit them with a *glee* Leviathan!

@Hedgeill: No, it's not. But Distortion Strike certainly is!

This card isn't horrible, but it's pretty bad. Cost is far too high and fixed and you can only cast it between declare attackers and declare blockers.

Also, Fishliver Oil has more playability.

Also, also... *laughs at Storm Crow*. Yeah, buddy.

I'm confused here. What restriction? When would you like to play this? After attack? After blockers have been declared? On opponents turn to one of their attackers? What?

Remember when this was printed. I just watched some nineties Magic tourneys on youtube. The guys had nine to ten lands out before the game ended and they didn't even draw lands every turn.

Powercreep has made many old cards obsolted thats a fact, but its not the fault of old cards.

Then on the other hand, I see lots of complaining here that old cards are too costly and same time that Moxen, Black Lotus, Sol Ring and Dark Ritual are broken because they allow you to play with these cards. Make up your mind. Don't argue on both sides.

Actually, the newer cards have made this playable. What with infect and all. And SANITY GRINDING, y'know.

I die a little inside whenever I see a card with an awesome, evocative name consigned to being such horrible jank.

They overvalued this ability. To bad, its got good art and flavor.

Such a waste of a good name and picture.

The worst thing about this card is the fact that Wizards' wasted the name 'Teleport' on it. Interesting art though.
