high cost. it has its combo cards, but not that good by itself.

Draco and Haunted Crossroads. Not much else really. Give it a 2/5, combo potential but utterly a waste of a card slot in any deck.

Seems black to me: Like with Bitterblossom, black is willing to sacrifice its resources for small advantages through tokens. With Bitterblossom it was life, here it is a mill effect. You have to do it, and you have no idea if you are going to have a land milled or a huge creature - sometimes it'd be nice to have Draco hit the graveyard, sometimes maybe it'd be better to have a flying creature than a bunch of tiny tokens. Risking that for potentially large gains is very black.
I like it. Turn two with 2 dark rituals, and from then on you can put 1/1 minions onto the battlefield, and busily power them up using Door of Destinies. ALL DISCARD THE GREAT LORD EGOTIST! Edit: Only problem is your opponents get the bonus too. Only solution? No coat of arms. Just a shit ton of minions.

Used with Liege of the Pit and Sensei's Divining Top you have a 7/7 that you can easily hardcast (morph cost then morph him a different turn) and, assuming 4-ofs, you have 6-7 things in your deck that cause 6-8 tokens to be made and the top helps to give you more chances of doing it :D

This card is a bomb in EDH. Maybe add Night of Souls' Betrayal to null advantages to your opponents' creatures.

I couldn't resist posting this old-style killer combo!
