Out Of Respect For The Member MasterOfEtherium, I'll Write This Review Like This. This Card Will Inevitably Be Compared To Broodstar, But It Compares Well Enough. It Costs More, But More Colourless, Making Cost A Bit Of A Trade-Off, But Neither This Card Nor Broodstar Will Break The Mana Bank Powerwise, The Two Are No Different, But Broodstar Flies. Point To Broodstar. THe Main Thing MOE Has Over B Is The Fact That It Pumps Your Other Artifact Creatures. This Happens To Fit Into My Myr Swarm Deck Better, But An Affinity Deck Might Get More Out Of Broodstar.

Essential in any artifact deck. Coupled with artifact lands, zero-cost artifacts and artifact token generators this guy can grow into an absolute monster surprisingly quickly.

Yeah, affinity, nuff said.
Even in affinity you usually have to wait for turn 3 to get broodstar out, so probably what matters is how many creatures you already have out there. Broodstar can fly over and win you the game, but he may do the same the turn he hits the table because of his lord ability.

A superb artifact lord. Playing the right lands can have another great impact. Aside from the obvious choices - artifact lands like Seat of the Synod or Darksteel Citadel, i like him most with artifact manlands, which get stronger from him and make him stronger while animated: Mishra's Factory, Blinkmoth Nexus or even Inkmoth Nexus. Semblance Anvil and Vedalken Archmage are also nice additions for reduced (up to nullified) costs and card draw. Another master for or a free Steel Overlord that pumps your master(s) immediately and in your following turns all your artifact creatures doesn't sound half bad for example.

It's a shame so many are busy feeding the troll (including myself, which might just as well be his favorite kind of attention) and actually forget to argument about the card itself, which is far more useful than this stain on Gatherer. Barely any of his comments are even remotely helpful let alone readable. If he didn't capitalize every word and managed to make a punctuated sentence for once, it's because he just copy-pasted the flavor text of the card as a comment.
Master of Etherium and MasterOfEtherium are two completely different things. If i should list any card i associate him with, it wouldn't be this one.
