i really like the idea about having a special set of cards that allow players getting an up-to-date wording, design and new artwork of their restricted vintage cards that would otherwise never get reprinted.
this will likely never happen with the power 9, though.

Of course, what makes this card ridiculous is its two mana cost. With that, you can play it basically whenever it would benefit you. This alone deserves a 4.5/5, but the new art pushes it up to 5/5.
I would almost want to splash white into a Madness / Hellbent deck just so that I could combo this with One With Nothing.
Also, a Barren Glory-based deck could benefit from this, since it won't have many permanents out anyway.

Why is this card so good?
Well, many time it essentially reads : Target opponent sacrifices 2 creatures, sacrifices a land, and discards 2 cards. And that's only turn 2.

This card is nuts. It kills your opponents board advantage, screws mana ramping decks, and sets back decks that draw lots of cards. If you are running artifact mana sources (mana vault, sol ring, khalni gen, moxs) this hits your opponents lands even harder. This has to be my favorite card of all time. 5/5 for sure.

This card is anything BUT balanced. In fact, it'll be more fitting to call this card "broken" than "balance."

Strangely, I played a multiplayer game once where one guy played at least two of these, and he lost.
It didn't make as big a difference you'd think. His deck wasn't built around abusing it, just around having a relatively low CMC base, I guess. He still got beaten to death in-game, since he couldn't deal with the cheapo removal popping his creatures post-casting.
Plus, it didn't deal with the bigger stuff. He did have Path to Exile, but ultimately this was just one of many scary things each of us could throw out.
Now, in a one on one, that's where it gets a bit brutal. Spells like this make you an enemy of all your opponents, and that doesn't matter when you're just staring down one person you can easily control.

Just a brilliant card, and a flavor I wish white held onto more nowadays. I miss the white that was a righteous judge, that never wanted to let the battlefield swing to heavily in anyone's favor.
