Ha, put it on your opponent's Cunning Sparkmage and combo with Linvala. They swing for zero and ping themselves 3.

Or just Freed from the Real. That's even more wicked.

Love to put this into my slow Nettling Curse/Hissing Miasma deck. I wish it didn't cost three...

Clearly, a situational card. But in those situations, I love it.

Isn't it great that this got printed in the same block as Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs?

Soooooo underrated. This card single-handedly won me almost every sealed match I've played in. Forcing a guy to tap out and inflict 3 points of damage is fantastic. You can force a weak guy to attack, take the damage or toss it into a wall.

The great thing is that he can't keep someone like a Prodigal Pyromancer sitting around to help kill a larger creature, he HAS to attack with it or tap out early and take the damage.

2 of these things will kill someone in short order, or remove the blockers so that you can run him over with other creatures.

As a final benefit, the opponent may have to waste their own removal on their own guy, giving you that much more protection for your own troops.

5/5, fantastic card.

I think quite a few people are under-rating this card. Think about it. Perimeter Captain plus Wall of Omens, then this on top? That's a lightning bolt every turn for three mana while you're gaining life. Also this card absolutely owns a turn two Putrid Leech.

This and Luminous Wake on the same creature, they WILL waste removal on it.

How in the Nine Hells does this stack up with Ghostly Prison? Do they have to attack with their creature, even if they can't pay the mana? Do they have to pay the mana every turn if they can? This confuses and infuriates me.

To those suggesting putting it on a pinger, that will remove said pinger but they will just have it ping itself to death, taking one hit.

@Gwafa_Hazid: Since you must pay for them to attack, and you can always choose not to pay a cost, the creature is considered unable to attack. A War Tax for U has the same effect, actually.

This + Freed from the Real = a terrible, terrible day for your opponent.

Gives double card advantage, because it forces your opponent to use removal he would otherwise use on you on his own creature...put it on a weak utility creature and let it ping you for one and himself for 3.

Even better with Narcolepsy

Or, my favorite, Narcolepsy a creature with 1 or 2 Totem Armours, then put this on it

Made a fun deck with this card as a main winning condition. Lust for War + Narcolepsy + Tideforce Elemental + Twitch, in any order, since Narcolepsy and Tideforce can be used for simple control anyway.

Let me tap/untap, tap/untap your creature until you die! How annoying!

Why you hitting yourself? Why you hitting yourself? Why you hitting yourself? :P

Had fun with this, siezures, betrayal and freed from the real on an enemy wall.

Purely a casual thing, but very funny.

I really like this card. Not because it combos with Narcolepsy, but because I believe it's a more flavorful card than Act of Treason or the like. In limited tournaments, it's an absolute powerhouse, since if you play it on anything with power 3-, it's still a win situation for you.

But I really wish, that this card would be a tribal card or has some additional goodie on it like "enchanted creature loses defender".

I could also imagine a green version with "draw a card" instead of dealing damage whenever that creature becomes tapped. THAT would help green against things like Peacekeeper, etc. Last but not least, I would have been also a great black card that makes the opponent lose life instead.

It's a Red Nettling Curse! Only more combo-licious.

Throw it on their silly little 0/1 utility creature, and watch them squirm to try and get rid of it.

Surprisingly (or perhaps not) ineffective on Eldrazi Spawn tokens, however. I should have known, but I was a little too tipsy to notice at the time.
