Nasty leech: perfect flavor for GreenBlack
Life for power: the defining Black ability
Art: Disgusting and awesome.

Verdict: Oh yeah.

Fantastic for B/G decks in general, but I would not put this in dredge.

@Sliver_0verlord
You don't need lifelink on this guy. Play another one for a quick win.

Did you see this guy in standard jund when it was alara+zendikar? That was ridiculous.
Turn 2, this guy
Turn 3, blightning
Turn 4, bloodbraid elf, cascade into blightning
Scoop.

One of the most well designed and perfect creatures in magic. It's color-pie true, it's very powerful, it's in it's shard, it's flavorful, and it's beautiful.

Powerful because it:
-trades with some 4 and 5 drops
-only eats life when you need it to
-is a fast clock
-is only a 2 drop

Flavorful because it sucks health (sacrifice for power = B, sucking health for pump makes sense for the creature)

In the color pie because:
-nasty leech fits GB
-B sacrifice for power
-G above the curve creature; wins combats like a beast
-G (and somewhat B) because it's a pump effect

In the shard out side of that?
-Notice how it's R,G, and B in it's color scheme: Meant for jund, even in the artwork
-It's pure aggression
