Epic fail. If I'm paying 5 mana, at least let me choose!

For those games where you have so much mana so late, but for some reason your opponent is only kinda sorta close to reaching a good spell's mana cost so you play this and delay the game, and are still able to put down your 3-4 drop along with it..
Sometimes commons are just weird.

Wow... this card stinks.

I can see this being of some moderate use in a massive multiplayer game if you want a resounding effect across the board, but there are probably other cheaper and more efficient cards with which you can achieve the same effect. Not the best.

Fun in a multiplayer game, particularly if you had some way to replicate it. Twincast would be pretty funny :D
Interesting similarity in name and effect to Fissure, which would appear to be the more effective of the two cards.
As it stands, 1/5

5 mana for whàt? Land destruction should be removed anyway, makes the game less funny in my opinion.

If you can get an active pyromancer's ascension or two going, this could be pretty f-ed up. Or cast it the turn after you cast global ruin in a domain deck.

If i'm going to play land destruction / land hate, I'm going to play good land hate... targeted land hate. Land destruction spells like Stone Rain, or Mwonvuli Acid-Moss. Just compare this card with Plow Under. I dare you...
great name, decent art, bad effect. Ultimately, we know they're afraid of land destruction but at 5 you should at least be targetting...
I guess it has its multiplayer use, so you can expect this to show up in a bad LD oriented team based deck. You know, if the person building the deck hates himself (and winning)

The flavor text is the only redeeming quality of this card.

Yawning Fissure causes yawning fissures: every opponent will open his mouth and yawn when this card is played.

Oh man, that poor mapmaker... ... He must not play Archenemy.

Terrible in 1v1. They are obviously going to sacrifice a basic land, not the pesky nonbasic that you need to get rid of.
Even in mutiplayer its not that good. It might set everyone back 1 land drop, but its going to be basic lands and your making allot of enemies. All that for 5 mana and 1 card.
If it said, for each opponent, destroy one target land they control. This would be a solid card for multiplayer, and might even need to cost extra.
.5/5, this card is really poor.

I guess... it's decent in multiplayer? No, no. It's still bad. 0.5/5
Makes for an amusing ramp spell with It That Betrays... although, if you already have the mana for him, you probably don't need more... Smallpox is more evil and loses you more friends faster :P

Oddly enough, it gets around indestructible lands like Darksteel Citadel, and things like Terra Eternal
