Playing one of these screws your opponents manabase slightly and makes him draw junk for the next two turns. Playing two of these is most likely a won game, since your opponent won't draw anything useful for 4 turns.

Green control? Yes please!
Only problem is if your opponent has a fetch land, or is playing blue.
2-for-1 and greatly decelerates the opponent, at a fair cost - especially green (on the play, on turn 3 you can get rid of your opponent's only lands - very nasty).

Getting hit by this card after your 2nd turn is definitely very demoralizing and slows you considerably
