Seems this was tailor made for Metathran Elite.

Goes well with flyers or unblockables. A free bounce every turn is very effective against most decks. Be warned though, bouncing opponents creatures with cascade will make you very unhappy.

any kind of pinger , i.e tim, zuran socerer ,gleotrode etc you just got a free unsummon as an instant , and you can unsummon your own cretures for just one damge , its a game winner

Insane with Double Strike or any creature that inflicts damage directly like Prodigal Sorcerer.

One of the best 1-drop enchantments for blue, period.

I have a good friend who uses this in a {R}{U} deck, along with Gelectrode and Curiosity. Tons of instants and sorceries drawn through multiple pings, along with your entire board of creatures removed from play. Classic.

i have fun enchanting Karplusan Wolverine with this. If they block i ping the player and bounce the blocker before damage, and if they do not block i get to bounce a creature of my choice. Putting it on a prodigal sorcerer probably works better, but my way presents them with a dilemma to make them squirm. Best of all this can occur turn two, bouncing your opponents first creature and preventing them from having more than one in the future unless they cast them simultaneously, meanwhile netting you a lot of tempo and card advantage. If you cannot win with that you built the wrong deck.

Fun for Zur EDH. I'll give him this and then Battle Mastery. Have fun getting a board presence against that!

my brother in law had this and prodigal sorcerer in his deck when i first started playin and it was painful to have whatever i just played thrown back at me turn after turn. makes for a long game of attrition if you cant answer with any type of removal etc. but i cant say that at the time, that i didnt immmediately copy this deck and play it against other friends. fun fun fun!

@dorkseid

That's a nonbo. Unless you want to return a creature you control to your hand, in which case their are better, less three-damage-taking ways to do that...

Yet another ridiculous way to make Invisible Stalker dominate the game.

My friend used/uses this in his hermetic study + horseshoe crab deck. Such dickery, especially considering these cards are from the same most broken block in all of magic.
