When this card hits the table, opponent's frown. When the second one drops, they cry.

So furiously aggressive... there is no gate big enough...

Easiliy one of the best 3 mana creature in Shadowmoor, if not in the game.

Certainly one of the best three drop creatures that I've ever seen.

Boggart-Ram Gang is an example of a perfect 3-drop. You're always happy when this beast hits the table. Plus, he's virtually unblockable. 5/5, no questions asked.

This and Kitchen Finks are the two best 3-drop creatures I've ever seen

And I've been around since 4th edition..

Bringing this out while Boartusk Liege is already on the table and your opponent knows they're in for it, because you just summoned a virtual 5/5 Haste Wither creature with only 3 mana. Not to mention more than once I've attached Runes of the Deus to Ram-Gang on the same turn, making it a 7/7 Haste/Wither/Double Strike/Trample BEAST - you just can't beat it. I love this card.

This card is just furious, a perfect proof of the fact that when a Goblin card isn't mediocre, it's freaking incredible (see also Goblin Welder, Goblin Sharpshooter.)

A 3/3 for 3 hybrid with Hatse and Wither? How can you say no to this card?

@MasterOfEtherium... Stop Capitalizing The First Letter Of Every Word That You Type. Its Annoying And Makes You Sound Unintelligent. If Your Reading This And Also Find It Irritating, Copy And Past This Whenever You See His Comments (Which Are On Almost Every Card I Look Up :/)

wow, power creep much. to be this price and have hast/wither it should be a 3/1 or at least a 3/2. or cost at least 1 more mana. calm down R&D, i know power creep is exciting and all but we want to preserve the game not ruin it.

You know something is wrong when the uncommons in a set are better than most of the rares.

3/2 or 4/1 would not have been too bad for an uncommon, now its just too good...

Usually when you get raw power in a card like this, there's a downside somewhere.

...not here. 3 Hybrid mana for a 3/3 wither AND haste? Ridiculous. This seems to be the premier {R}/{G} 3-drop. What makes the card even better is that it can be played in both mono red decks and mono green decks.

If you didn't rate this 5/5, you've obviously never played with it (or played against it).

This card, Vampire Nighthawk, Transcendent master, Kitchen Finks, and Sprouting Thrinax are the best.

Hey yo cleavage I'mma let you finish, but Transcendent Master is hardly a good card at all, let alone a good 3 drop. And you're all wrong. Tarmogoyf with one mana up for daze is the best 3 drop of all time. OF ALL TIME

@EvilCleavage:

I'm going to have to add tuktuk the explorer to your list. However, out of the one's you mentioned, i think the nighthawk takes first prize.

But if we're talking about 2cmc creatures....

Living proof that Dragons these days are unplayable rubbish that always show up to the party too late because goblins already stole the keg, set it on fire, and rolled down the hill on it. And that's a satisfactory explanation to how this card got designed, the end.

Should've been just 1GR. No, that's not as awesome, that's the point. Or be a 3/2. Forgive me I've an OCD on game balance. Not to say it's broken, buuuut...

Still, I love it

One of the best things a creature can do is turn sideways. The faster they can do it the better.

Every vote that wasn't 5/5 was most likely someone whose gate met this...
