Does that first ability 'happen' once? That is, will creatures that come into play on the same turn AFTER Furystoke Giant's effect occurs gain the ability as well?
I'd like to know if this plus Hostility can generate infinite tokens by tapping Hostility to create two tokens, then tapping one of them to create two more, etc.

@ Clefaria: 1) only creatures you control on the battlefield at the time he comes into play gains the ability. Even if they gained it otherwise, they'd need haste to use it. 2) Hostilityy only creates tokens from SPELL damage, abilities don't get turned into 3/1's.

Fling him or sacrifice him to Goblin Bombardment the next turn for some good fun thanks to his being so persistent and all.

This card is incredibly epic when you realize two things, the first thing is if you have a bunch of creatures with vigilance or an untap ability, you can play furystoke and attack and still tap them to deal more damage. Having 10 creatures out is an immediate 20 damage, and even when it's not you can one side a board wipe by killing every creature on your opponents field.
One wizards article suggested using deep-slumber titan, elemental mastery, and fury stoke together. I'm not sure if I would play that exact strategy, but you can see where the writer was going with that idea. Another one that I've actually seen in play is springjack shepherd, play with red/white, have creatures with a lot of white mana symbols, play springjack shepherd, follow with giant and thats game.
The only downside is that if an opponent has life gain or etc. it will take away its ability for instant win, for example you need a lot more tokens to instant shot them to 0 if they are up at 30 life because of their baneslayer.

This guy can make some nice combos. Akki Lavarunner, Stigma Lasher, just about anything else with a damages player effect... Oh and deathtouch, that's good too.
Or throw him into a Tim deck with Goblin Sharpshooters... ouch. (And then next turn you use the sharpshooters to kill him and do it AGAIN).
wow makes all eldrazi spawn become cunning sparkmages, except twice as strong,
pretty dangerous w/ tokens

Fairly dirty w/ Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and tokens. Even if you don't choose to use it as an overrun you can still 4 for 1 or more your opponent if they play creatures. You just have your two dude shoot that guy and 3 of those dudes to blow up a titan. Kill it with like a lightning bolt or arms dealer or sacrifice it to High Market or something and do it all over again. Very solid card, it has a lot more depth then just Overrun or Emrakul, the Aeons Torn that scream "WIN". Though that is the optimal mode for this guy. Good dude in edh for sure
