A blue beat stick that is based around having a lot of cards in your hand. Fun.

He works great with Null Profusion or Recycle as long as you can overcome the hand-size restriction on those enchantments. Spellbook or Reliquary Tower should do the trick. Once that's taken care of you can play spells without your Chronicler losing stats.
Great card. It's similar to mortivore. Except Mortivore's power and toughness are equal to the number of creature cards in every graveyard. I prefer Mortivore over this card, but I still like that there's variations in its stats, depending on your hand. MORTIVORE <3

I made a decent deck along the lines of how Wildfire decks used to be, but with a little more oomph. I suspend this guy using all my mana one turn and play Apocalypse the next or whenever I feel like it. The rest of the deck is stuff like Seething Song, and Ancestral Vision, Reality Strobe and Arc Blade, and a few suspend creatures. Pretty fun for me, not very fun for opposition.

has a Jace-esque feel to him.

I swear they got the inital artwork idea for Jace from good old Aeon Chronicler.

Add a couple of Jhoira's Timebug and you'll have absurd card advantage in a couple of turns if this is suspended.

Why is this guy rated below 3.5 exactly?
Suspend two of them turn 4 with Jhoira of the Ghitu and you're getting 8 nearly-uncounterable cards for 4 mana. Plus two fatties with haste after that's done. That's insane.
Resilient and uncounterable (except by stifle effects) card advantage source in control mirrors. I took me a while to realize that with Teferi out you can suspend this card at instant speed.

P.S. this would work well in a deck with Soramaro, First to Dream and Overbeing of Myth

Plus he's rather good in commander.
No, they got the idea from Arcanis.
