If a creature put onto battlefield by Killer Instinct is subsequently championed by another creature what happens when the champion goes away?

Killer with 'beginning of upkeep' library manipulation.
@uncountednose, the creature returns to play as normal, it does not have haste, it does not get sacrificed at end of turn.

Holy crap, it's "Ach! Hans, Run!" In an actual set form! I love this card.

I like how in the flavor text the first retreat is normal but the second is all in caps. It really shows the panic being caused by that wurm. Nice.

This card makes me want to yell "Ccccccccombo Breaker!" every time it activates. Especially when it actually destroys a combo piece.

The creature that returns to play is a new object and won't be subject to the sacrifice trigger. Any time an object leaves the battlefield and returns it has no connection to its prior existence. This is why cards like Momentary Blink work, read the rulings on that card. This also works with Teferi's Veil.

Everything about this card just makes me grin from ear to ear.

Lurking Predators is much better than this, but lacks the video game reference that I spent my childhood growing up with.
I have a Killer Instinct deck. I find that a Crystal Ball and Wheel of Sun and Moon really make it sing. Throw in some Ondu Giant-type cards to clear the lands out of the deck and you can actually do some real damage. It's great for casual.
Looks like good EDH material, maybe follow up with a debtors' knell if you're running some sort of janky 5 color goodstuff.

It ain't a bad card, just outdated as mentioned before. However if you really feel the need to throw it into a deck, then I suggest to pair it with Sundial of the Infinite. Of course you will have one less slot left, but it will turn out that the 2 of them together will offer you more benefit than Lurking Predators does. Haste ain't an ability to be overlooked that easily folks.

But I'd rather a Sneak Attack.
