they should printsome new arcane spells, they've done some spirits tho. 4/4 for 5 is still good, and its ability is decent if you have Ghast Lord, or Wall of Reverence. And those are just some of the good spirits they're printed since Kam.

One of the few Spiritcraft cards that actually works outside of a spirit deck. (Can you say "changelings"?)

This would probably be amazing in a spirit mill deck... if it was practical.
If you get the unspeakable combo out with cloudhoof kirin, you mill 15 cards, plus draw 3, and tutor for one- all for six mana. Sure it's grossly impractical. But VERY fun.
You know with the new Spirit stuff in the Innistrad block, this card's actually looking pretty good.

I've actually found milling to be nice as a kind of side effect - like with the Sword of Body and Mind. Sure, you can argue it does nothing as you never really know if you stop them getting their good spell or help them get it, but it's nice when it's noncommittal.
Basically, pay 5, get a 4/4 flyer, and then if the game drags on there's reasonable odds you've punched your opponent's library hard enough for them to begin to be concerned. Admittedly 1 might not do much, but 2 would be very annoying.
I do play slow multiplayer games though, I will point that out.

With the The Unspeakable combo you would only mill for 6, being the CMC of the three combo cards. The Unspeakable is placed directly into play and isn't casted, so it won't trigger the Kirin.

Throw in white for removal: celestial kirin, reciprocate, etc...
