Art is extremely cool, and it's on a very playable card to too. Excellent.

Great card with a good casting cost, but the artwork...it looks a bit too lush and countryside-ish for a Ravnica card. The whole point of the block was that it was a massive city, but this card and others don't have that city quality. If I'm wrong or missed something, please let me know, and explain why, thanks.

I love this card so much, throw 2 down and the some primalcrux or something: -"hey blue mage, what were you just saying about card advantage?"

@elChupacabra: In a vacuum I love the artwork, but I agree with you that it does look a little out of place in the set/block. I have seen a larger version of the art where the buildings in the background are more prominent -making the foreground look like an inner-city park. Perhaps the background could have been brought out a bit more, whilst still retaining the misty-cool quality.
Lastly the word 'creature' in the flavour text sticks out for me. I love flavour text that references card mechanics, but not so much that it seems to reiterate them. As I write this however, I am starting to actually like the creature reference, so disregard this entire paragraph :P

If it cost less it would be broken; as is it's fairly playable.
Looking at Soul of the Harvest I want that Sage to be a little bit stronger.

Another Soul of the Harvest, but you get your cards even if the creature doesn't resolve, although no Mayael the Anima or cheating creatures in with this one.
