It's in case a burn deck has let things get out of control but is still alive. I've only played it two or three times, and I've had this since Stronghold. If it isn't countered, it's always been the finisher for me.

if you look closely you can see a guy surfing in the middle of the wave. its easier to see if you actually have the card.
This seems like a spell that would do more than 4 damage, based on the art. Love the art, imagine how scared you would be if you saw something like this coming at you.
This card looks beautiful, and I'd love to play it, but the red mana cost is just too much for a B/R deck that focuses more on black than red. You don't see too many 4R cards anymore.

Good thing about this card is, you target the player, so even if his/her creatures have shroud or hexproof they'd still be damaged.
Without miracle, Bonfire of the Damned would cost 9 mana to achieve the same effect. The red mana is intensive, but it's good power.

HOW?! HOW ARE YOU ONLY UNCOMMON?! LOOK AT YOUR LITTLE COUSIN MIZZIUM MORTARS! YOU'RE PROLLY THE BEST BURN SPELL OUT THERE!
Sorry for the caps, but I had to express my emotions somehow :)

I've got a foil one of these. It's hypnotically beautiful.
