I guess this fellow was inspired by Dark Supplicant. Unfortunately though, it was not such an awesome one-drop, so you won't be able to use his ability in turn two with two other one-drops. And another downside is that it can only search in the library. Then on the other hand, you can search for any legendary spirit. Overall this guy should do a good job, especially since "Spirit" is a handy type. There are Spirit cards which can be returned from the graveyard with Soulshift or inherent abilities, or you can use spells which create Spirit tokens which are useful for saccing without great card disadvantage.

Very good with just about any green spirit deck. Bringing out an incredibly large fatty like Patron of the Orochi is a great turn 5. If you can find a way to make the spirit tokens from Forbidden Orchid to come into play on your side, this creature would probably be even more effective (I have yet to find any cards that give you control of all spirits or tokens).

My personal favorite is fetching up Kokusho...and once I have 2 more spirits, killing him to get another :)

I once had a GB deck that used this guy to fetch Iname, Death Aspect, initiating a mass dumpage of 20 spirits into the graveyard. The purpose of that? Mortal Combat, or a lethal Revenant. It was a crappy deck, but hilarious when it worked.

Potentially possibly badass, if all the new Spirits in Innistrad block don't disappoint...

What happens, ultimately, when one sacrifices a spirit? Does it go to the extra-secret afterlife? Does it haunt other ghosts while they try to sleep? Does it get reborn into a real boy?
