@tommy9898 Why would you want a non-goblin that doesn't interact with goblins in a goblin deck? that's just silly. Come on, you don't want to be playing siege gang commander twice. Well, not for his full mana cost anyway. It would be cool if you splashed white and liberated (or something similar) him, though.
And dude, he costs 6. So realistically what would be happening is you tap out to play him on turn 6. Then you end your turn, then play returns to you, you bounce a siege gang commander, play it again and only have 1 (or 2, if you dropped a land) mana to work with. That means on average you can only sac around 2 gobs a turn to commander. On your turn. before you bounce him.
And once again he costs 6, for nothing more than haste. Not exactly a great late-game finisher. Which is what he would be, costing six mana and all. Voracious Dragon costs 5, and can often win you the game simply by casting it.Clickslither costs four and can provide an unexpected midgame fatty. Skirk Fire Marshal wipes the board clean on the 5th turn with a 10 point earthquake that hits fliers.
On an unrelated note, that is not a demon. I refuse to accept your creature type. You are a hound or a beast. Or a hound mutant. Or a beast hound mutant. Yeah, that would have been awesome.
And I never, EVER want to see Unnecessary Floating Torches And Other Magical Bullsh!t again. It seemed like every creature in this block had all kinds of floating cr@p hogging up the picture. All that magical sh!t isn't going to help you from sucking, entire kamigawa block.

@allmighty_abacus: You just don't get the point of the art of Kamigawa block, do you?
This seems like a solid finisher in mono-red to me. It's got haste, so it can start kicking ass the moment it gets out, and the drawback seems irrelevant, because a couple of creatures should be enough to give it time to win you the game, if you have made sure to burn away your opponents' creatures. Sometimes it can kill your opponent the turn it gets out, but I believe it to be a lot less effective in mulitplayer. In the end, a not too flashy, but rock solid card.
Edit: Alright Abucus, By your logic, goblin warrens is terrible in a goblin deck too, because it isn't a goblin itself? I'm just saying that you can use this guy to make his downside work for you by using "coming into the battlefield" triggers. I'm not interested in winning with a swarm on turn 5 in some legacy tournament.
I play casual. Fun multiplayer games with lots of crazy wild things happening, so I can easily get up to 6 mana and play this guy. Maybe you should try this "fun" thing, you might like it.
the "unnecessary" floating torches, etc., were lesser spirits that followed the greater kami or oni into the materialistic world. aside from being creative artistically and providing depth and variety to the game of Magic and its various sets, it had another purpose: soulshift, which is popular among the spirits of the entire block where you can retrieve a lesser (cmc) spirit from your graveyard when a spirit with souldshift goes into it. the flavor is very cool and building a deck around this mechanic can turn useful and fun.
you could remove the upkeep kill in a Red/Green deck with awakening zone

Been looking at this as a way to abuse my Izzet Chronarchs. Only have one, So I don't wanna wrap a deck around him yet and I tend to try to play multi-color spell recycling decks. He's beefy, has a cool effect, and is hasty. I'll maintain his 3.2 by giving him 3.5 purely on theory.

@Tommy9898: A goblin deck that can make lots of mana? Doesn't sound like a goblin deck to me :D

Unless you're comboing with enter-the-battlefield effect creatures... Just play Rorix Bladewing or something.

Got a real weak spot for this card. In the late game you can pick up your Crater Hellion every turn, replay it and he survives, and that's inevitability against some types of decks!
I do wish this one didn't cost 6, but he's got a one up on the rest of his cycle- if, god forbid, some smartass kills every other creature so he'll have to bounce himself (as a frequent user of Stampeding Serow and Eiganjo Freeriders, I am familiar with this d-baggery), he can be put right back out and attack again. Not to mention, his cost is almost completely colorless. If you find some way to reduce his cost (say like Ruby Medallion) and he starts looking not-so-bad. Besides, if you're abusing ETB triggers, you'll want to reduce costs as opposed to ramping.
He's a reusable Lava Axe and just as colorless. Fact is you can drop this T4 and every turn after with just Cloudpost, Glimmerpost, Glimmerpost, Mountain.
In a red cloudpost deck outfitted with the requisite Flailing creatures you should be able to do plenty. Color light creatures are meant for their color-lightness to be abused; be it in multicolor, colorless production, or something else.
If you want to compare him to Inferno Titan, go ahead! But you're missing the fact that it's far far harder to get {R}{R} in those other decks and that this is abusable with ETB/LTB effects.

as for the entire block sucking, that is a matter of perspective, but you would admit thatUmezawa's Jitte ,Sensei's Divining Top ,Pithing Needle , among others, Kokusho, The Evening Star, are amazing .
