I knew a guy that ran an infuriating deck based around this guy and various black creatures with EtB triggers. Having all your best creatures popped systematically with Nekrataal was not fun. Neither was 1 or 2 Highway Robbers each turn. And nearly being locked out of your draw step entirely with a recurring Chittering Rats is completely obscene.

Surprisingly, skull collector is a not half-bad card from kamigawa. However, it didn't work too well at all with other kamigawa cards.
