I imagine for a mill deck this is a great way to finish off the game, just bring back ALL your lands and get rid of whatever the opponent has left, it won't matter when they go to draw and lose next turn anyhow.

This card should get new life in a landfall deck!

I'm so glad those fruity moonfolk didn't get new life in zendikar.

great with landfall mill... but its just too slow, especially at 3U. If it was 1U for a 0/1 flyer, it would be playable

I had a Moonfolk Mill deck that I was putting together that abused this card.
Basically, get the pieces out, then mill in one turn. Lots of bounce, card recursion, cheap search tech for lands other than basic types, and card draw. You'd be surprised how consistent it was. Had to take it apart for some of the cards, but I might put it together sometime down the road and turn it into a Fish deck of sorts.

meh.
No need to complicate things.
Mindsweeper and Crab with Training Grounds, a way to get land out fast, then some more control/mill.

I think this is a great EDH/Commander card!
It can protect your expensive "one of" lands from "Land Destruction" while punishing your opponent by milling two cards for trying, all this and it can be tapped or untapped to activate.
It can counter a miracle card that was tutored for and placed on top of a deck, or other such top deck strategy.
It can work in conjunction with many come into play effect land cards like Bajuka Bog, Vesuva, Halimar Depths, Teetering Peaks, The life gain lands, etc.
You can use it with Tolarian Academy or Gaea's Cradle by tapping for mana, then returning playing again, then tapping again!
Landfall implications have already been mentioned.
All this with a four toughness (hard to kill with damage) flier! No one really wants to kill this guy so he flies under the radar most of the time. Pretty tech utility Creature that only has one blue in its cost!

Mill decks. Armageddon. Herald of Leshrac. Bounce opponents lands to their hand with the Herald or bounce your lands for safekeeping to follow up with 'Geddon.

It can get rid of Sensei's Divining Top once it's on top of a library.
