Ages ago, this was a superb beater for Mono-Black Suicide. Against Combo and Control it was essentially a 4/4 for 1B with no drawback.

Combos well with Stuffy Doll withPariah's Shield ends up dealing double damage each time Reaver deals damage.

Loxodon Warhammer + Sanguine Bond + this = swing for 7, take 7, gain the 14 life which in turn deals 14 to your opponent.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it has to deal damage in order for its ability to trigger, which means that if you and your opponent are at 4 your opponent takes damage first.

I love this card, but I run only 3 of because, in casual, people likes to run aggro decks.
