I'm currently trying to make a deck that uses this, with Manabond and Limited Resources once I'm in control of all the land, just Boomerang anything big my opponent has and either take him out with a Man-o'-war or possibly just deal damage with a Malignant Growth. I'm still working it out...

I use this card as a finisher in my Underworld Dreams and Teferi's Puzzle Box combos. This and Wash Out make for excellent sweeping control that can fit into nice little combo niches all over the place.

Warped Devotion would be quite evil with this, provided you had card advantage so you can hold on to some spells and some lands.
Also, having stuff like artifacts provide you mana is another way to use this.

beleive it or not, there are magic players out there that do not want you to play spells. They are not immune to a good knife in the chest, however. anyway, I play it in a casual deck with windfall for shitz and giggles.

This was back when blue could do pretty much anything. Yep, instant speed Armageddon in blue.

I play this in EDH to either even the playing field when I've missed land drops or to ensure no one will throw a wrench in the gears of my machinations.
And my playgroup now hates a card they'd never heard of.

play a moonhold hold before this to make people mad..:)
Probably tied with Armageddon as the best land destruction card in EDH that's not banned. Being Blue makes it so much better.

I use this in my Jhoira of the Ghitu EDH deck. It's one of the star players.

I use this with Ommiscience in my EDH deck. Earns me wins, but not friends.

/facepalm. These developers did a very poor job with this block and mirrodin.

Great finisher for control/discard/"number of cards in hand" decks. Usually it won't matter your own lands are gone too.
Pretty much seals the deal in Iron Maiden deck as they can't get rid of their cards fast enough. Extra spicy if you play it during their combat phase while Dissipation Field is in play.

Good friends with Psychatog, Fastbond and Patron of the Moon. Don't play this turn 5 though. What makes this really nasty is that you can float mana. There are a lot of ways to play this, but if you are playing this and letting it effect you symmetrically you are doing something very wrong.

What a mistake this was to print. Oh Urza's saga.
