The rule clarification says that "You do your normal draw before this ability is put on the stack."

If that's the case, shouldn't the oracle text say "at the end of the draw step"?

Anything that triggers when a card is drawn is good, such as Jace's Erasure or Underworld dreams to name a few. Very versatile, and can even allow you to move through your deck to find the good stuff even if you don't use a combo with it. You should though IMO.

@Chamale: Your normal draw is the first thing put on the stack when draw phase starts, then comes the other 'at the beginning of your draw step' triggers.

Drawing a card isn't a trigger, it's just an action that's taken. Other than that, tavaritz is right on the spot. You draw your card before anything in the phase happens, then all triggers that would apply are put on the stack.

If it said "at the end of the draw step" then it'd trigger when you went to leave the draw step. for the most part, it'd be the same, but other "at the beginning of your draw step" triggers wouldn't be stackable with this to get an advantage, such as Maralen of the mornsong.

I went to the Vancouver GP 2012 and only then did I realize that card alter group Card Kitty was there. Following day, I brought this card with the intent of having it altered so that she's holding a Rubik's Cube instead. Sadly, they were only there for the one day. (sadface)

How about with dredge? It wouldn't be very competitive because it costs four but in a casual deck it might be fun.

I run this card only with this art. Miss you, Kaja Foglio. :)

Anyway, my Notion Thief don't leave home without it in my Dimir EDH.
