I have no idea how this monstrosity got through playtesting unscathed. One of the most ridiculously overpowered cards from the Mirrodin block, and it's only a common! What the hell, Wizards? did you really test this properly? It's just insane in Affinity decks! A mere Ornithopter becomes a killing machine, and after you sweep their creatures they just carry on with the beating using Blinkmoth Nexus. This card is the reason Affinity is still alive. And it really shouldn't be, after all the bannings...

Overpowered? Possibly. Still in my artifact deck? Hell yes.
It's common, so everybody has a good chance to get it. If everyone is on equal ground there, then it isn't imbalanced. At least that's my view on it. I've seen three of these on the table during a 3-way match. Hellacious damage totals.

This card is too good. It's not into game-breaking level, but it's still in game-neutering level. I love Mirrodin, I just wish it had fewer superpower cards, since without them there are more viable decks.

It should be common, reason 1, those of us who are casual and only sometimes play tournaments can't afford a 500 dollar deck.

It's in the game-breaking level. You can easily get this out with enough mana to use it's attach ability ad attach it in response to attackers not being declared. In an affinity deck, this card is broken. But then again, not paying mana for your spells is kinda broken in and of itself now, isn't it?

Did you know: part of a cycle. This one stands out as it is insanely broken and the others all suck. But the fact that all the other ones sucked is probably the only reason this one made Common. That, and R&D skipped playtesting phase in Mirrodin block.
Just absolute craziness. All by itself it can turn any creature into a monstrosity. A must have for any artifact/affinity/modular deck. As if it wasn't good enough already they added the double black instant transfer ability. Then just to add a few inches of icing on the cake, they made it a common.
