Not THAT bad, even if I've never played it myself. The point is to have a 4/3 rogue that can get a rogue spell played easier. Combine it with Inkfathom Witch or Stinkdrinker bandit, which you will if you want a good rogue deck, this is actually even better! Of course, it is terrible in any other deck.

1UB for a 4/3 with no drawback? Now that's just silly. 2UB would be fine.
I don't see what the problem is. This guy is unblockable for 2 mana no matter what kind of boost he gets. There's so much dirty crap you could pull with this. And he isn't as expensive as he looks. He's an artifact creature so the cost can easily be reduced.

This card is really a piece of crap. But wow, talk about stunning artwork: they should have reserved this for some kind of rare, if not mythic. +1 for Chippy, -10 for R&D.

It's honestly not that bad of a card, considering how flexible it is and the fact that it's a common. You can either have a 4/3 blockable if you want to get rid of your opponent's smaller creatures, or simply deals some damage while your opponent tries to draw a creature to play, or have a 2/3 unblockable if your opponent's larger creatures are waiting around for your larger creatures to make a move.
Also, I would think that anyone smart playing Esper would throw some Etherium Sculptors in their deck, so playing this guy shouldn't be that difficult.

I almost want to make a deck based around making this card work, just because it looks amazing.

I think 5 mana for a 4/3 is good- but it is really a wretch having to lose power on top of paying the mana to make it unblockable.
Anybody else think this would have been better than awful for the game if the unblockable had been free?
or else had some form of shroud, and keep the current payment for unblock...

Chippy should've just done all art with Etherium on it or any art with some type of metalic black tint, he just dominates many of the artist.
