My Relentless Rats EDH deck is BUG. Got one of these today, and this is definitely going in it.
The problem with Vig is that, sure, you get one creature but three other cards probably go to your graveyard. Depending on the build, that may not be THAT bad, but still. Blue and Green don't have the reanimation that black or white do.

You know, I look at all these creatures, and I keep going like "they are SO re-making these in the next set when they make that Planeswalker"
I can't wait to see her in play, with all the old cards that were both control and power like this, it would be awesome. I could see this in a Krakin deck.
First Turn: Islands, Ponder (Put back 1st: Any Carc 2nd: Strong Creature card) Second Turn: Play Forest. Tap for this guy, name someone like Lorthos, the Tidemaker
That is a second turn big guy! That is almost better then B/W 7/7 with lifelink! Basically "I get any big guy I want"
Best part, it could easily be something like Halimar Depths instead of Ponder... is going to be big.

Hmmm.... Blue-green deck...
Coiling Oracle gives me card advantage and acceleration; Sage of Epityr maximizes the acceleration part. Both of those use "enters the battlefield" triggers, so I can make a little engine if I put in Trusted Advisors. I need a beater... Conundrum Sphinx capitalizes on what the Epityr tells me. Might want to add in some Moonring Islands and Halimar Depths to help support the Epityr. Mr. Wood Sage here will also get lots of good use with the top-of-the-library manipulation. A couple Overbeing of Myth's would come out early and be huge; could make a decent finisher. Plaxmanta and Mystic Snake could be functional control elements, and the Trusted Advisors would make them repeatable.
Sounds like a deck to me.

@Truebloodwolf: I think you misread this. First, it doesn't have haste, so you can't tap it on turn two to get the card you put back with Ponder. Second, the card goes to your hand, so while you would get a big creature, it wouldn't be cheated into play and you'd have to build up the mana anyway.

I could really see this guy in a blue/black reanimate deck... tap, "Doomed Necromancer please" the fatties that where on top of your library are discarded and you've got something to dredge them up with.

Strange that he dumps the leftovers in your graveyard - the mechanics make it feel more black/green than green/blue. A green/blue nowadays would tuck the remaining three cards on the bottom of your library in any order. Either way, it's nice for tossing Unburial Rites fodder into your yard.

True facts: {T}: Mill yourself 4 would still be pretty good.
