One of two pre-Future Sight creatures to be given the 'Homunculus' type. Interestingly, both are Illusions.

Strictly worse than Æther Figment.

Isn't this a blue Amrou Kithkin? The big difference is that this card only needs one and one colorless, whereas Amrou Kithkin needs two .

This is one of those cards you think should have 200+ comments on it because someone made fun of the name.

This could possibly get interesting now that we have Lord of the Unreal and Adaptive Automaton. A big part of Illusions seem to come with a 2cc, which makes AEther Vial rather interesting.

@Paleopaladin
It's not strictly worse; you can't play Æther Figment in pauper.

I play this card in my Experiment Kraj EDH deck and it is game-changing. After a few turns of pumping up the little guy with counters and equipping him with Sword of Vengeance, he becomes very dangerous very quickly. Also, throw in an Evolution Vat and Training Grounds. Then it makes a big difference whether or not they can block a 10/10 with trample with only a 2 or lower.

@Paleopaladin - Not strictly worse, there may be times when you want this to be blocked for some reason.

Funny card, but outclassed today by a couple of things.
