I want to build a deck with awful creatures like this and then juxtapose, cultural exchange, donate, etc. I think Evil Eye of Oms-by-Gore is a must for such a deck.

This guy was better back when people had the guts (and admittedly, the means) to build creatureless decks. He was sideboarded in a lot of old aggro builds in case of Milling decks and the like.
So ease up on the guy. Made of straw or not, he has a heart.

The only problem with sideboarding this in against creatureless decks was that they normally anticipated this and sided in some Steel Golems.
That was the real metagame then.

i can see a deck being made with him today. combined with some steel sabotages and essence scatters, he could be a cheap creature in a control deck.

Well said, Kirbster.
Also, Master_of_Mistakes is aptly named.

Seems to me this could compliment the morbid mechanic quite nicely, especially what with the new Tragic Slip and Hunger of the Howlpack. Cast a creature? Well it's dead, and mine just got a perma giant growth stapled to it. Didn't cast a creature? Well my efficient one drop here is going to start bashing your face in, and He'll bring his friend Lumberknot. Oh, hey lookit this cool little Skeleton Shard I found...
Speculation aside, This thing seems to be rated awfully low. I mean yes its crappy at first glance, but its a super efficient colorless body with a very Johnnyish ability. Thats worth a 3.5 from me at least.

Definitely not the worst card ever..I mean.. I wouldn't use it, but I don't have a deck that could utilize it for anything.. I'm sure it's sueful for a lot of things though

@Kirbster:
I have built 3 creatureless decks in the course of my Magic life, black burn, red burn, and black-blue mill. They are among my groups' most powerful decks. Creatureless decks have many advantages, with the biggest being they make your opponents' creature removal useless! Also, board wipes won't hurt you since you have no creatures. The best thing about creatureless decks is they are very unanticipated. Even with a sideboard most opponents take several games to get it, and some people don't even sideboard player-burn substitutes for creature-burn in case of a creature-weak deck.

I'd say he's worth a 2.5! Sure, he's not a very good creature and most likely is going to the grave turn one. But hey, he can make a blocker in a bad scenario and does offer a cheap sac outlet to creatures that base their abilities off the creature they sac (i.e. ones that give you life based on toughness or something).
