A Spiritmonger's body and some kickass abilities make for a great finisher, although the graveyard ability is a little odd seeing as how Innistrad is rotating out.

There are still relevant spells and abilities in standard, but that's irrelevant. This is top-down design at its finest. Three abilities, three heads, and as a guardian of the underworld, he does his job preventing anyone from getting in; or anything from getting back out.
Also, absurdly powerful, all things considered. I like it.

Fannnntastic flavor!!
Also, really pushed in terms of P/T to CMC.

Erebos has decreed that the Golgari Swarm shall no longer commit heinous graveyard shenanigans. To enforce this law, he has sent his mighty hounds to patrol the Rivers.

I'm loving BR's increasing "NO, YOU SHUT THE **** UP WITH YOUR ANTICS" card designs that hose at least 4 strategies at once while smacking face. I am increasingly tempted to build a "Screw You" deck with this guy, Sire of Insanity, Cackler, Rakdos Charm in the sideboard, etc.

It's funny how it's like, "Dude! Stop touching your grave!" And when he dies, it's like, "Lol, nah it's okay. Here, have all your things back!"
Not the most consistent creature for anti-graveyard stuff, but it's cool in its own way. It'll definitely show up in many EDH decks.
As for the card itself, a 6/6 for 5 that's almost unblockable is good on it's own, not to mention it has two good abilities tacked on. Whether or not it hits standard will probably depend on if there is a deck that makes good enough use of its third ability, but I think it'll find a home somewhere. It's too good not to.
The most flavourful mythic as of yet. You really get the impression that it's a watchdog of the Underworld.

It's kind of funny how Two-Headed Cerberus has double strike but as soon as you add the third head it's like "Nope! One head per person, no cheating."

I can envision a fairly cool Jund deck with this guy and Lotleth Troll.
"Hey, you killed my nearly unblockable 6/6? It's cool... let me just get some creatures to pump my trampling Troll.

As long as you exile the cards from their graveyard to prevent them from getting a handful of creatures back when he dies, this card is vicious. He could be very good in a deck running both Scavenging Ooze and Deathrite Shaman.

@Hollowing Crypt Incursion says hello. Best of all, it's not targeting anything so you can use it while Cerberus is out. Since it's an instant you can respond to Cerberus' death with it.

Do they really need to keep on hosing flashback AFTER innistrad goes out of Standard? And would it be too much to ask to make triple strike a keyword? But 4srs though, this card makes me want to cry and then vomit because there's so much flavor.

Really sick creature, I just wish it was legendary so I could play it as a commander. I wonder if Rakdos Midrange can make a comeback in standard?
Also this doesn't hose flashback, doesn't hose morbid, doesn't hose undying (although the mass Raise Dead works with Undying rather nicely).
It does make Snapcaster suddenly seem pretty vanilla, but other than that this isn't really Innistrad hate.

Deliciously powerful and delightfully flavorful, at least until one dies while two or more are on the field. Everything's just casually strolling out of the Underworld while Cerberus #2 just takes a nap.

Triple strike? Trying to reintroduce "Firstest Strike" there SirLibraryEater?

Yeah, triple strike would have probably been a bit overpowered.

Price is only 2.99?
Just have some means of exiling opponents graveyard, and he is a 6/6 nearly unblockable which brings back all your creatures to your hand when he dies.

Vicious synergy with Tymaret, the Murder King. After you've sacced a decent number of creatures to the King's abilities, you sac this big fellow to bring the rest of them back. It's also a hefty beater to boot.

Triple Strike: Deals damage before creatures without first strike. Deals damage again at the same time as creatures without first strike. Deals damage again after creatures without "slow strike" or whatever you want to call it.
You blocked with three creatures? Munch. Munch. Gulp. Three heads, three kills.

Poor Cerebrus. This card is amazing, don't get me wrong -- but as long as it's in standard, decks that would want to play it will always opt for Stormbreath Dragon or Gray Merchant of Asphodel instead. I really hope it finds a deck that wants to play it so it can kick butt with its above-the-curve unblo- (er, I mean, can't be blocked) potential card advantage-ness.

Just don't use it to trade with an attacker... They hit the graveyard and then his ability triggers. There's a bad trade and then there's the ultimate in chumping.

Nearly unblockable, if combined with gravehate his dies trigger is one-sided, he's mildly oversized, and he also prevents some strategies if you ramp him early enough.
All around a fun and good card.

Hahaha, I wrote this thing if as not that great, then I pulled fluffy here, in a draft game. Every other game was my opponents scrambling to get three blockers out. Thank God for all the common burn cards in this block

Talk about wrong place wrong time... Most useless mythic I've ever seen and besides playing the role of a beatstick, contributes absolutely nothing to this standard meta. Most of my resentment was that I pulled him out of my first Theros booster box. Waste of a mythic.

Same problem as Ground Seal - guys in graves get shroud just isnt that effective because most good grave manipulation doesn't target.

The flavor as guardian of Tartarus is great, but why do I need three guys to block it? Are the heads detachable or what?
