The combination of the art and the ability is just pure poetry.

Your two creatures are bout to kill my two in combat? This can be a double combat trick easy. The power boost is perfect for first/double strike creatures and the toughness is perfect in fighting them. This can quietly create some nice card advantage on the battlefield.

Agony Warp mirror has the same potential for a double combat trick for card advantage. Good common.

Works out real nice, you can often swing a trade with one or both, or use the 0/3 to turn a trade and the 3/0 to amp the damage to an unblocked at the same time. Especially useful in helping keep your creatures on the board, keeping battalion going.

@lorendorky You think people standing behind large shields and holding weapons is overdone to death? Next, do you intend to tell me that a wild-eyed goblin holding something sharp is an overdone art description? Or a wizard directing some sort of energy beam? Or how about a merfolk coming out of the water?
Come on, now. People behind a shield line holding large weapons is a really broad, really flexible category.

Interesting how red+white=green. A more versatile Giant Growth

Good card. Poor flavor text, considering the card itself is all about combat tactics: surprise, deception, etc.

This little trick is absolutely amazing in limited in its colors. This can help you beef up a chump blocker, squeeze through a few points if damage, keep your battalion alive, and make your opponents attempt at trading creatures fail. Definitely a high pick in limited, but I doubt its viability in constructed.

Splitting Giant Growth into its component parts and then splitting its mana into its allied colors makes for a surprisingly potent combat trick, especially for Boros.

Rated 3/6. It can be used on the same creature or two different ones.

I wouldn't use it in standard but there are some fun tricks in limited. I saw someone block a weenie with his Boros Reckoner and then use this to pump the weenie's strength and his Reckoner's defence and proceed to kill the weenie and dole out 5 damage to his opponent.

Just a beast in limited and a pretty decent combat trick overall. Really good in pauper and in casual can give +6/+6 to your golems from Precursor Golem

A decent common, slightly worse than Agony Warp because a removal spell is always a tad superior. Please reprint Agony Warp, Dimir needs it :)

With the new card coming out (Anax and Cymede), it roughly equates to giving Anax and Cymede +3/+3, and giving every creature you control +2/+2 and trample until the end of turn.
Congratulations, you have just dealt Turn 4 have successfully attacked for 19 damage. Legion Loyalist attacks for 4/4 First Strike/Trample Anax and Cymede attacks for 10/9 First Strike/Trample Ash Zealot attacks for 5/5 First Strike/Trample/Haste
None of these can be blocked by Tokens.

I'm just going to predict now that this card will see a lot of use with Theros' new Heroic ability.

Use with the heroic mechanic in Theros. Two mana instant speed combat tricks while triggering two abilities? Yes please.

this is such a flexible card to trigger Heroic effects.

@Tsunaki
Read the Heroic ability. It's one spell, so you'll only get the trigger once if you have both effects target the same Heroic creature.

Turn 4: Madcap Skills and Martial Glory
Heroic is triggered three times, so that's three +1/+1 counters plus +3/+3 plus +3/0.
Swing with a 10/7 double strike, can only be blocked by two or more creatures on turn four.
