There are ways of making her better than what she seems at first glance. And I'm going to do that, because that's some of the prettiest art I've seen in a while. Must have foil.

Storm crow is still better in a Blue Green deck that runs that dude that powers up creatures with no abilities. Storm Crow will never be outclassed.

The german translation of this card is a grim reminder of WotCs low quality translations.

Yeah, they switched P and L in the cardname. And used the correct name in the cardtext. Fail.

Careful guys. Apparently faeries tend to pierce stuff when you s t i c k it out to them.

All the +1/+1 counters running around make +1/-1 abilities a lot better.

I HATE +1/-1 abilities. Great art though.

Personally, I think she's got the best art of the set. I got my hands on the full four as fast as possible for my Simic deck, now I'm tempted to create a faerie deck.
She's able to evolve all the 0 power or 1 toughness creatures simply by entering the battlefield (Cloudfin Raptor, Experiment One, Shamble Shark and Elusive Krasis). Plus if I remember rightly, if you're willing to pay an extra {U} in response to the evolve trigger she acts like a 2/1.

@HotHit
The evolve trigger checks only as they enter the battlefield. It doesn't trigger every time a creature enters the battlefield and then checks its P/T, so if Metropolis Sprite initiated an evolve trigger there's no more messing with P/T needed.

Beautiful art, and a potent little creature if you can get +1/+1 counters on it- which, being a Rouge, Oona's Blackguard does quite well. A friend of mine pulled a foil one in his Gatecrash fat pack, and it's been solid in my Faerie Tribal since. 4/5.

Hey does the ability works with Illusionist's Bracers so that I can +1/-1 on another creature?

@sonorHC: he said UG deck, so he obviously meant the Muraganda Petrogliphs + Gravity Well + Storm Crow combo.
And I'll stick to my Surveilling Sprites, but thanks anyway, GTC. Now if you only had a faerie with an ETB ability to go along with Thieving Faerie...

this card is truely beastly in a blue green power transfer deck
heres a scenario i had gotten in this Tuesday
hand: island, elusive krasis, and hands of binding
field: 6 island, 5 forest, metropolis sprite(5 counters and hands of binding ciphered on), simic fluxmage, and bond beetle x3
main step 1: activate sprites abilty 5 times making her 11/1 and then enter battle step
battle step: swing with sprite so no mater what there either gonna get hurt or lose a creature
main step two: play island and elusive krasis
sprite can get much better then that being capable of ending the game in one hit
