A good but also a bit costly way to recycle some specific creatures for a second appearance: morph creatures, Ball Lighning-like creatures which you normally would have to sacrifice at end of turn, creatures with comes-into-play abilities.

I want to like this card, but the activation cost is a tad too high. I hope they revisit the design in a future set, and make it a bit more aggressively costed.

This, Portal 2 Bee Sting, Coils of the Medusa, Flailing Ogre, Flint Golem, Hickory Woodlot, Look at Me, I'm the DCI, Meng Huo's Horde, Nalathni Dragon, Ruby Leech, Stasis and Verduran Emissary are cards that were the only card by its illustrator, that I know. Are there any other?

Combo with ETB effects. At end of opponents turn, pop this, then recast your Augur of Bolas on your turn. If you have 5 mana, can chain this if you have nothing to cancel on his turn. Not to mention you can get a blockers boost of +2/+2

I used to enjoy this card with my Viashino deck, primarily the Viashino Sandstalker and the Viashino Sandscout. Nowadays, this card has a bit more synergy due to Sundial Of the Infinite.
