Off-the-wall way to get in some surprise damage, and it resists certain forms of removal since it is not in play all the time. That being said, it can get expensive to keep recasting it. Definitely works best if you can exploit it coming into play or leaving play with other cards. Decent card that deserves to be reprinted in a format that would benefit from its wackiness.
Works well with something like Mogg Cannon, Pandemonium or Grafted Wargear on the side. Although really, he works well on his own. It can be easy to kill slow opponents fast with this guy.

One of my favorite red cards. Plays out much better than it looks. For one thing, it keeps your hand size up. Once played, opponents know that it's in your hand, but playing this means you can keep hold of the other cards you have - and those cards generally remain unknown. Hard to describe. One of those cards you have to play to feel.
Look at it this way: If Unearth is thought to be a useful ability (see Hellspark Elemental), this card is better.

Hey this thing should get a reprint! It's perfectly balanced by today's standards!
