For the mana you use playing this card, you could have Unsummon'd it 3 times. This is a pretty weak "removal" card that will pretty much never be seen outside of Limited.

No matter how mediocre a card is, seeing a huge number in the text box always excites the inner Timmy.
@Dolorosa: have you left a positive comment on ANY card you've graced with your presence?

@Dolorisa: By the time you play this, you'd have to be damned lucky to have three Unsummons. This neuters anything on the board and rocks in Limited; you threw your bomb on the field? Yeah, don't care. Blue control rocks Limited once again.

I rate this a one simply because it does work fairly well in limited (I had it cast against me). However, I can't really rate it much higher simply because I feel most cards ought to be designed for constructed.

Commander review: not good, because it's too narrow. When you add cards to your deck whichs job it is to deal with creatures, then you also want them to be able to deal with utility creatures. And that's not the case here. 1.5/5

designed specifically for Ludevic’s Abomination, this card makes sensory deprivation look silly.

A little surprised it wasn't a curse. Also a little disappointed that all the Curse cards were imaginatively (sarcasm) named 'Curse of the...'.
This could have the same name, the Curse subtype, and effect all creatures the cursed player controls for a little bit more mana. 3UU?

@DarthParallax, a card for 5 mana that cripples all your opponent's creatures? Even if that cost is balanced, I'm pretty sure the chance Wizards would print something like that at common is absurdly low.
Sensory Deprivation costs U, and gives a mostly permanent -3/-0 to a/the creature. This, for 2 more, gives -13/-0. That's a big difference. For 1U at common, I'd expect -6/-0 or -7/-0. For 2U at common, I'd expect -10/-0 or -11/-0.
But this goes even further and just out right cripples the target with -13/-0! That excites my inner Timmy. Perhaps this won't see play outside of Limited and Casual, but still. It's blue pseudo-removal that makes a creature unable to attack quite well, and even works well with Beguiler of Wills from the same set, which is awesome if you can get your hands on both of them in Limited, despite one being a Mythic Rare, although the other (This one) is a common.
In Limited, this makes a creature rather worthless as an attacker, and often negligible as a blocker. The only issue is that it can be removed, and that there are almost no circumstances where whatever is enchanted will be able to kill anything, so this kind of hinders your use of Morbid effects and the like.
Overall, I think this is an awesome exciting design, and it does what it looks like what it was meant to do rather well, if only in Limited. 3.5/5!
Doesn't stop B.F.M. from killing you in one hit. 1/5

At some point, the number in the box gets big enough to surpass mere Timmy-ness. Is 13 that number?

@Dolorosa: Uuuhhh...if you've Unsummoned that creature 3 times, that's three cards and three draws you've used against one... and its not even close in its purpose to Mr. Skifsang here... and if said creature has come down three times, what's stopping it coming down a fourth time then? It still isn't removing it, only stalling it...your point?
This is threat removal, obviously not so much against utility, but a nice and likeable flavourful card. 13 is the magic number! :D

Is anyone else ***ed at majinara leaving his bs "commander reviews" on ever card from the set. And everything he says is "this card sucks" About this card though, lol overkill. I know Wizards was going for a 13 theme in this block, but really? When exactly are you going to use this over, say, Claustrophobia?

Beguiler of Wills has little synergy with this card, unless you have a way to drop the enchants or wish to steal utility creatures (which in most cases you are doing 2 cards for 1).
Does however, stop many, many creatures becoming a danger ever again until the enchantment is gone

majinara: I'm sorry, but you keep making such small-minded comments on too many cards and I just can't ignore it any more. This is essentially a blue pacisfism, which is pretty damn skippy in my book.

Either way, I like this. We've had all sorts of weak in blue cards that reduce power. Like Constricting Tendrils, Fleeting Distraction, and lately in Innistrad, Sensory Deprivation.
