This is a testament to the Devour For Power deck that, after having me Traumatize his library, my friend used this to exile away his own graveyard away, jsut so The Mimeoplasm couldn't steal his stuff.

Complete bomb in EDH. Nossir, no recursion for you. Useful in any constructed deck if you've got some nonbasic land tutors. Not to mention it craps on dredge, if anyone would ever run it (I'd be lying if I said a land that entered tapped was fast enough for legacy though, and dredge is neutered in modern).

Not even a full four out of five? For free card removal? Any number of cards used to opponent cards in the graveyard.....and then poof they're gone.

Doesn't matter to decks that don't use their graveyard at all obviously, but still.

Fun stuff.

I use this for my vintage deck...with Mist of Stagnatin..Leyline of the Void..withered wretch and Scalpelexis...opponents can't do anything but watch for their library get milled out or their life reduced to "0"

Ultimate troll card. Hands down.

Great sideboard tech against Reanimator and maybe Dredge. I'm not sure why this doesn't see more sideboards as opposed to Nihil Spellbomb, which finds a place in a ton of sideboards.

I used traumatize on the archenemy once. He lost half his deck and was sad. The next archenemy scheme shuffled his graveyard back into his library T_T

Next game, I played traumatize again. He checked the top archenemy card (we're a casual crowd) started laughing. I laughed right back and exiled his graveyard.

Vengeance was sweet - or at least, bog flavored.

@Kamahl_Fox

It's good in Modern for Zoo. Tarmogoyf and Knight of the Reliquary hate this card, and those are two of the most dominating cards in the format.

Sorry, just to clarify, what's that Zombify targeting? Ah I see, well I'll just tap this Walking Atlas and drop this...

Hosing graveyard strategies like it was just an afterthought.

Thumbs up for every time this card is in your opening hand and absolutely worthless except for ruining your tempo! Good card, but it hates me.

Great for legacy (Crop Rotation can use this at instant speed if your deck supports it, Knight of the Reliquary too)

Great for Casual. How many decks can support grave hate for all the abuse casual can see (especially multiplayer?) Cards like this and Loaming Shaman are mainable grave-hate without losing much.
