I don't really understand why they put cards like this in the decks.. They could've reprinted something that actually deserved it.

I have never cast this bad boy, only cycled for a card and counter fodder, and he does that job well.
I have copied it once with The Mimeoplasm along with a death's Shadow for 13 counters, just to taunt my opponent. Next turn, they sacrificed their Islands to a Claws of Gix so I couldn't attack. I guess he showed me.

You know a cards' useful when the flavour includes people abusing the creature in the Magic universe.
Check out Zombie Goliath and Vastwood Gorger. High-costed limited fuel, but never playable outside of that. There's bound to be more things like that (Caravan Hurda counts, I suppose?)
I mean, does Primeval Titan's, Ravenous Baloth's, and Primalcrux's flavour describe the way humans harness their power? Actually, it's the complete opposite!
