C'mon Wizards, just make it Yavimaya Wurm and leave it alone. Everyone is happy with Yavimaya Wurm, it's flavorul, it lets new players see green's trampliness without being overwhelming in limited.

These green wurms of today lack mojo. Back in the day the original art Craw Wurm shook every new player's world despite the card itself not being anything special, even by the standards of its time.

Eh, the creep has spoiled you people. is costed right for a 5/6, and it's splashable fattie. Also, the flavor text is awesome, and that wurm has some Alien freaky pharyngeal jaws so the art is A+. Give it a break.

Now mind you, if it costed , then I think it'd be time to complain.
Right now, it's low-pick limited fodder. When Murder's are scarce and frequently hate-drafted, how are you going to destroy a big creature?
I like this a lot more than Craw Wurm because of that extra toughness, which means it'll actually live through what the opponent has on the field by then. Even a Yavimaya Wurm will just run into a couple of 2/2s and die, I like this cause it lasts longer. Though I agree that I've never been in a draft where this or some equivalent has made the cut, sometimes you're in green and you need some kind of finisher.
