I love her "stats". They're just perfect. Getting a set of five of these. Four to play with, and one to play with.

I prefer Skinrender. There just doesn't seem to be that many situation when it would be better.

Birthing pod automatically satisfies conditions for Morbid.

I am totally ok with WotC making 'boobs on something hideous' a staple of Black's color pie

This was my very first Innistrad card, Innistrad being my very first set. I'm kind of happy to know that my first card ever was this one, with such giant, polished, shining.....boobs! Just massive ghost ***. Wow. I mean, I've never used her in a deck ever. Not yet. But I still enjoy having 6 of them.

Strong card. Pays an opponent back for unfavorable combat, or just adds removal to a vanilla beatstick if you've sacrificed a creature in any of your crazy combo-rific shenanigans. Like Birthing Pod or Culling the Weak (Infernal Plunge in Standard).
@ Kirbster: No, I think Skinrender was more the black Flametongue Kavu than this, but still, an intriguing comparison.
That's a great ability. She's a little more expensive and a fair bit more limited (though also tougher)... but are we looking at the black Flametongue Kavu?
And my goodness... look at the size of her artistic merit!

She goes great in decks that require creatures to be sacrificed, such as those that use Skirsdag Priest , Archdemon of Greed , Mortar Pod , Birthing Pod , or Griselbrand.
Alternatively, you can automatically create morbid for a cheap cost by using Geth's Verdict to force the opponent to sacrifice a creature. Or, post-combat, you can cast Tragic Slip after something has died this turn , and cast the banshee immediately after for a second round of removal. Liliana of the Veil 's -2 ability also works well in this respect.
Really, there are a lot of options to play her, and I assume she will become even better among the Golgari, when Return to Ravnica rotates in.

Wow this is a great follow-up for Skinrender in a Birthing Pod deck (4cmc -> 5cmc). If you don't have Bpod, it's ok, just put her in a sacrifice deck of some sort and it'll work out pretty nicely. 2 for 1 cards are always nice. Ok granted that you sacrifice a creature, it wouldn't be "politically correct" for it to be 2 for 1 eh? But if you sacrifice a creature like Festering Goblin or Viridian Emissary, it would be considered as such :P

Sure, it's no Skinrender, but why not play both and use the skinrender to activate morbid? problem solved!
That is exactly why she belongs in my green/black morbid deck (with a whole bunch of skinrenders, OF COURSE).
