I always love giving the opponent nearly impossible decisions.

Either pile is probably really, really bad :P

Unless you have four or more creatures in your graveyard, this is worse than a typical zombify effects and costs more. IF you have four or more creatures though, it becomes quickly better.

I do have to say I like the Urza's Saga "X or Y" cycle a lot better than the "Punisher" cycle of Odyssey cards (Browbeat, Blazing Salvo, ect). Yes, both cycles give your opponent a choice to make in how the cards play out, but it is a choice of how to divide the dividends; you get either reanimated creatures, or even more reanimated creatures, with Stand or Fall. The Punisher cycle tends to pair largely-unrelated effects, so you can't get any sort of consistency from the cards.

good; though very situational. I could see this card being a godsend late game.

Despite the gimmick hungry yobs digging gold from Rock n' Roll, telling us they'll die before they're sold; or those who insist they'll fight a long time, (got to travel over mountains, travel from the graveyard)... this card usually ends up being just another story.

While not on the same power level as the previously mentioned Debtor's Knell, or guaranteed to get you something you want, like say Rise from the Grave, this lends itself to EDH perfectly, at least to a deck that is creature heavy. EDH matches tend to be quite a bit longer, so you have ample opportunity to play all sorts of big nasty guys, or otherwise useful cards. Activate this when you have 10 creatures in the grave, easily attainable in longer games, and you basically give an opponent a "pick your poison" option. And beyond that, if you have an ally in a multiplayer game, you could always throw one single guy into a pile, and all the rest into the other, and have them let you bring back the large pile (provided it won't clearly win you the game). Also, this brings back a cluster of folks right away, so is not vulnerable to removal like the slower reanimators are.

To the Gate to Phyrexia rides the Knight Exemplar, her War Hawk perched on her wrist, her Attended Knight bearing a proud Capashen Standard, fluttering in the breeze as she surveys the Tainted Field before her. The Ring of Thune she wears glints in the Serene Sunset as she hefts her Loxodon Warhammer and shoulders her Angelic Armaments, gifts from Avacyn herself.

"Rally!" she cries to her Elite Vanguard. "Rally the Troops, and alert General Jarkeld that this Foul Presence will soon be Purged from the Living Lands!"

"Death or Glory!"

Theoden: So much death. What can men do against such reckless hate?
Aragorn: Ride out with me. Ride out and meet them.
Theoden: For death and glory.
Aragorn: For Rohan. For your people.
Theoden: The Horn of Helm Hammerhand will sound in the deep, one last time!
