The blue Goblin Guide, a great beater in control decks that run counterspells. I think this guy's seriously underrated right now.

Oh hey there Mr. Fly, creepy artwork... too bad I didn't get to see it during my games BECAUSE YOU NEVER FLIPPED AT THE PRERELEASE!
I learned the hard way, this guy isn't a great limited card... put him in an izzet burn deck where he can block and get in some extra damage.

The flavor. Oh dear lord the flavor!

I love the flavor on the guy. That, and he's a human, so all that nice equipment you've got sitting around (silver-inlaid dagger, Butcher's Cleaver) will be used to the fullest.

why, I wonder, do they have seperate ratings for each half of the card? it's not like you can only put one side of the card in a deck...
anyway, this is a great card!

I never thought I would ever see the creature type "Human Insect" actually printed.

Possibly stupid question. If I have more than one of these guys, because I'm just revieling the top card and not losing it or moving it, can I transform all of them? I'm really digging this guy.

@tantallum99 I've been wondering too. The only thing i can think of is for the people that rate the art as well.

I get the creeps every time I read the flavor text. Just awesome.
Best thing ever was when a guy put Bonds of Faith on my Aberration, because he thought it was an Insect Horror. RTFC, guys.

Here is where this card becomes better than reckless waif and others like it. Here is why its legacy and vintage playable.
It doesn't flip back. It is pure aggro for a control (instant sorcery heavy) deck. If it flipped back, it would be common. The way it is, there are decks built around this creature, and has made itself seen in legacy and vintage on occasion because it works.
There is absolutely no negative to this card. Therefore it's a 5.
Obviously, Delver of Secrets is a rather worthless card unless it transforms into Insectile Aberration.
The reason it was reliable back in M12 Standard was because Ponder could increase the odds of Delver flipping from roughly 40% to near certainty. Adding Gitaxian Probe and Thought Scour, while unable to stack the top of the library, increased the odd of having both Delver and Ponder to work with in the early game. Lastly, Mana Leak and Vapor Snag could control most of the metagame with Snapcaster Mage extending the reach of the deck.
Would a similar (Delver based) strategy work in Modern? Perhaps, but since the closest thing to Ponder is Serum Visions, and the metagame is more diverse, blue's go-to one-drop just isn't what it used to be.

I wonder if Rock decks will become GBu?

It's already a common.
This + Inquisitor's Flail + Butcher's Cleaver = Love(just watch out for Storm Crows)
Your opponent will have a chance to Gut shot the second one or force you to draw, but if they don't all of them will transform.
that said, very good flavor in the card.

But hey, 3/2 flier for {U}, you can't have everything. :)
