Feels quite Bolasish.

I think we see the real reason they made all those 'PS Im a dick' cards in NPH xD

Makes me wonder why didn't have a cantripping lightning bolt for just Red...that would have been perfect for this deck! >:D

(yes, I'm the kind of guy that's Top in Class at Design and Epic Fail Sauce at Development. I like winning. sue me. :P )

Wow... Actually strictly better than unsummon.

Well, not if you're at one life and want to bounce your own creature... :/

Still amazing though.

@001010011100101110 Mostly, except when you want to bounce you're own creatures, but I'll usually play this turn 1 or 2 to keep the board clear and annoy opponents. It was funny when my friend played Vault Skirge on turn 1 for 2 life and i pulled this. 17 life and creatureless :) I'll give this card a 4.5/5 but it has it's drawback, so not strictly better, but can be.

This card has it's pros and cons -

+Can get rid of creatures that do not have hexproof or similar ability
+++Instant speed
-Will not stop a creatures ETB ability

Considering the con, use Psychic Barrier or an equavilent counter when the situation calls for it and you do not want the ETB ability to trigger. Pay attention to the creature being cast, and what it does!

I don't think you know what 'strictly better' means. People throw that term around a lot. Unsummon is better in certain situations, Vapor Snag is better in others.

The rewarding feeling of bouncing someone's Celestial Colonnade; sapping them for 1 life, and forcing them to replay a tapped land that they have to wait a turn to use.

@DarthParallax That would be so broken. A cantriping shock would be way more fair for just Red. You would use it post combat or during damage calculation, not as a pure removal spell.

This card is not strictly better than unsummon. If you want to use a card's entry effect again or save a card from removal, unsummon will let you do that for no drawbacks. This card will hurt you in the process.

@lpan55: You really overestimate the significance of 3 life.

Acts as either a 1 mana counterspell against delver-of-secrets/snapcaster mage/young pyromancer removal (even counters abrupt decay), or as an effective blue doom blade with an additional ping, because if your creature got in under permission on turn 1 or 2, it certainly won't get in on turn 2 or 3 against a blue control deck.
